Millie Oates

Millie joined the Oxford School of Global and Area Studies in 2016 as Administrative Assistant, in 2017 became the Safety and Finance Officer and in 2024 became the Business Continuity and Projects Manager. She is the School Administration team lead, the Departmental Fire Officer and Security Liaison Officer. Millie is involved in planning, developing and implementing effective School policies relating to:

• business continuity

• planning projects

• health and safety

• security

• facilities

Prior to working for OSGA, Millie has worked in further education and higher education. She started her career in education supporting students with special education needs in 2008.
