Early Career Research Fellowships

The OSGA Research Strategy is committed to attracting talented early career researchers (ECRs) and fostering a dynamic, supportive research environment. Between 2017 and 2024, the School established a diverse funding portfolio, encompassing prestigious fellowships and initiatives supported by UK funders such as the British Academy (Postdoctoral Fellowships, Newton Fellowships, International Fellowships), the Leverhulme Trust (Early Career Fellowships), and the ESRC (Postdoctoral Fellowships). Additionally, significant support was secured from internal and European funders, including the European Commission (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions).

During the 2017–2022 period, the Department achieved remarkable success securing numerous fellowships.
