Paul Irwin Crookes speaks at a workshop hosted by the Shanghai Institute of International Studies about Europe's maritime strategic engagement with China in East Asia

Paul Irwin Crookes was a panel speaker at a recent workshop in Shanghai analysing the EU's maritime strategic engagement with China in the East Asia region.  The workshop hosted in China by the Shanghai Institute of International Studies (SIIS), was co-organised by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) together with the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and brought together academic and policy specialists from Europe and China as well as officials from the European Union.
