Dr Bo-Jiun Jing (Senior Research Fellow in the Taiwan Studies Programme) received an Individual Award for Academic Staff in the Early Career Strand.
The award recognised Dr Jing's innovative approach in the 'Taiwan in Comparative Perspective' postgraduate option course.
Dr Jing was noted for his use of current international affairs to contextualise the course content, which 'not only deepens students' understanding but also prepares them for future academic and professional pursuits'. He was also acknowledged for his 'dedication to inclusivity and personalised learning [...] evident in his flexible teaching methods and the positive feedback from his students.'
