I have a background in political science, comparative public law, and legislative drafting. I further specialised in the EU's research and innovation policies and their financial framework. This led me to work in knowledge and technology transfer sector in Italy, supporting the pathway to research results valorisation through various routes, including inter-sectoral large collaborative research initiatives. Over two decades, I have gained in-depth knowledge of the research and innovation funding landscape, navigating its complexities at various levels. My experience includes hands-on planning, management, costs reconciliation and audit of numerous research grants and one research infrastructure, ensuring efficient resource allocation and utilization, and providing impactful support for dissemination and exploitation of research results.
As Research Manager at OSGA, I lead the Research Facilitation Team, focusing on strategic planning and enhancing the School's research funding portfolio.
I manage the School’s pre-award research activities providing tailored guidance to academic colleagues on the sustainability and development of their research agendas. I serve as Secretary to the School’s Research Committee and I sit on the OSGA Departmental Research Ethics Committee, contributing to maintain high standards within the School's research culture and integrity.
