I am an MPhil student in Global and Area Studies at St Antony's College, with focus on China and Japan. I hold a BA degree in International Relations from King's College London, where I focused on East Asian security and politics, and have also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Law. My area of interest relates to law and identity-making, and I wrote my undergraduate dissertation on dual nationalities and securitization of citizenship in East Asia. I am interested in further pursuing comparative socio-legal research for my thesis, and am looking into exploring the intersection between national security laws and human rights regimes in East Asian context.
