Hello! I am Matt. I recently graduated from Durham University with a BA in Chinese Studies. As an undergraduate, I studied Chinese literature and East Asian history, and my dissertation examined the nature of Qing diplomacy. Since graduating, my interests have further expanded to encompass society, policy, and law both within China, as well as in Central Asia. I have researched with think tanks, and have published papers on EU-Uzbek trade relations, as well as on Mongolian domestic policy. I am excited to delve into further research in both regions through this degree.
