I am an American student, originally from Boston but coming to Oxford from New York City, where I've been for the past three years. I recently completed my BA at New York University, where I triple majored in History, Philosophy, and Global Liberal Studies. My undergraduate senior thesis, "Naming Chinese America," looked at the relationship between onomastics and identity formation in the Chinese American population, and my current research interests focus on sociological and historical perspectives of the global Chinese diaspora.
