Please join us for the final Leverhulme lecture delivered by Dr Agnieszka Koscianska, Leverhulme Visiting Professor at OSGA (2021/22). The lecture will be followed by a discussion with Prof Rachel Murphy and Dr Andreza de Sousa Santos providing alternative perspectives from China and Latin America.
Dr Agnieszka Koscianska is Associate Professor in the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, University of Warsaw. Her research interests include gender, sexuality, queerness, sexual violence, religion, race and racism in Central Europe. Her latest books are To See a Moose: The History of Polish Sex Education (Berghahn Books 2021, Polish version 2017, Wydawnictwo Czarne), Gender, Pleasure, and Violence: The Construction of Expert Knowledge of Sexuality in Poland (Indiana University Press 2021, Polish version 2014, University of Warsaw Press).
