Professor Harini Nagendra of Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, will discuss the challenges and opportunities of urban sustainability in the context of Indian cities, with focus on the forms of urban environmentalism and how equitable they might be. Prof Nagendra will speak about how environmental consciousness is shaped and made among city residents in India, community participation in urban conservation and more. OICSD Research Director Prof Radhika Khosla, University of Oxford, will moderate the discussion.
