Andre Jockyman Roithmann is in the final stages of his DPhil in History at Wolfson College, University of Oxford. He previously read History at the University of St Andrews, where he also completed an MLitt in Intellectual History. Andre is interested in the history of political thought and his doctoral thesis examined the rise and fall of the Rio Grandense Republic (1836-1845), a short-lived separatist state in Brazil's far south.
