Book launch: Africa on the Contemporary London Stage

Femi Elufowoju Jr, actor, director and founder of companies Tiata Fahodzi and the Elufowoju Jr Ensemble, and Funmi Adewole (De Montfort), a scholar-practitioner on contemporary African culture and dance in the UK, will discuss the collection of essays Africa on the Contemporary London Stage (Palgrave 2018) with the editor, Tiziana Morosetti (Oxford and Goldsmiths). This collection of essays investigates the way Africa has been portrayed on the London stage from the 1950s to the present, bringing together well-established academics and emerging scholars, as well as playwrights, directors and performers currently active in London.
