Roundtable on “The Future of Area Studies: Challenges and Opportunities”

On Thursday, 30th January 2020, OSGA hosted a roundtable discussion on “The Future of Area Studies,” with more than 75 OSGA faculty and students in attendance. Panellists explored both theoretical and institutional challenges to Area Studies, with special attention to the value of interdisciplinary collaboration. The panel was introduced by Roger Goodman (Warden of St Antony’s) and chaired by Wale Adebanwi (Director, African Studies Centre).
