Punjab Research Group Conference - Saturday 29 October

Punjab Research Group conference on Oct 29, 2016 was an excellent day of well researched presentations covering areas of economic history, agrarian conditions, Indian and Sikh nationalism, Christians in Pakistan, Sikh interpretations of the Mughal Shalamar Garden in Lahore  and dalits in Punjabi diaspora. A new prize Best Presenter Award for the best PhD student presentation was awarded to Amandeep from the Department of English at Panjab University, Chandigarh for her paper 'Political Consciousness of Punjabi Poetry of the post-1990s".
