Professor Paul Irwin Crookes publishes new article at Journal of Current Chinese Affairs

The new article analyse the opportunities and challenges for UK-China economic relations beyond Brexit.

 

"The UK’s Strategic Partnership with China beyond Brexit: Economic Opportunities Facing Political Constraints” has been published in the Journal of Current Chinese Affairs, co-authored with John Farnell. The work examines the opportunities and challenges facing the United Kingdom government in building a closer economic partnership with China beyond Brexit and argues that, whilst modalities exist for negotiating a UK-China FTA, ongoing political constraints will persist for both sides that may influence the scope of any potential agreement.
