George Yeo lecture and book launch

On 14 October 2024 we were delighted to welcome Mr George Yeo, former Singapore Minister of Foreign Affairs and member of the University’s ASEAN board, to launch his new book and give a lecture entitled ‘ASEAN as Geopolitical Buffer’.

Mr Yeo set out his vision of ASEAN as a source of harmony and stability in the wider region and outlined how ASEAN acts as a lens through which many issues affecting the region can be addressed.
