European Area Studies Networking Workshop

On Friday, 31st January 2020, OSGA convened a workshop with several key European partners in order to discuss inter-institutional collaboration in the post-Brexit architecture. The meeting was held in St Luke’s Chapel (Radcliffe Observatory Quarter) and was joined by colleagues from INALCO (Paris), the Free University of Berlin, the German Institute of Global and Area Studies (GIGA), the University of Leiden, the Higher School of Economics (Moscow and St Petersburg), the University of Warsaw, and Charles University (Prague). The partners discussed collaboration in the areas of doctoral training and institutional best practices in Area Studies.
