Paul Chaisty has been awarded funding from the British Academy/Leverhulme Small Research Grants scheme to support research on How Russians Make Sense of Politics: A 2018 Russian Presidential Election Study.
He will investigate the ideological and social factors that shape the electoral decisions of Russian citizens, and the ways in which their political judgements have changed since the last presidential election in 2012.
This project will run from 1 November 2017 to 31 October 2019.
