Congratulations to Professor Christopher Gerry!

We are delighted to announce that Head of OSGA, Christopher J Gerry, has been included in the University of Oxford's 2021 Recognition of Distinction Awards, which confers the title of full Professor and recognises distinguished contributions and excellent records in research and teaching, as well as service to the wider University.

Chris, who is currently working on COVID-19 in Belarus and beyond, tobacco laws in Russia and health inequalities across the region is now ‘Professor of Public Health and Health Economics in Russia and Eastern Europe’.
