I have for the last four years conducted a longitudinal ethnography investigation of a group of parents of missing children (abducted or kidnapped) in Mainland China. My research focuses on a cluster of processes involving “The crime victims’ movement, the Commodification of Victimization, Civil Society Organizations, Trafficking in Children, International Adoption and Contemporary Chinese Politics.”
